We have had a great start to our summer together as a family where for once the kids are much busier than the parents! We had a week vacation in Colorado which included family time, hiking, a wedding and seeing great friends. Once we got back, Micah left for a 15 day boy scout trip to Philmont to hike. While Micah is gone, Abby had day camp with the girl scouts for five days with one overnight. Marcus and Jessica worked a lot on the house, catching up on a lot of small things and some big things like staining the deck, back steps and porch. We also painted Micah’s room and ceiling, organized his stuff and put down new carpet. In the midst of all of that, we have been able to have time together, time on the porch and lots of sleeping in. We are blessed.
