Its been a great summer so far, with just about 3 weeks left for Marcus on his sabbatical and and about a month before everyone else goes back to school. Micah had a great trip with the boy scouts and Abby loved her girl scout day camp. Both kids are finishing up a week at church camp, which they always love. This is their sixth year at church camp and possibly Micah’s last. Marcus and Jessica had a great 4 day trip doing some bourbon touring and tasting in Kentucky which was relaxing and educational. 

We have also been working on a lot of projects at the house. Micah’s room was redone completely. Marcus’ mom came out to help us get rid of all the wallpaper in both bathrooms and we have repaired both ceilings and painted the upstairs bathroom ceiling and walls. We are also working on flooring, doors and a variety of other things. The house is looking great and it has been a lot of work, but mostly enjoyable. We are excited to have some more time at home together and maybe some day trips to finish up the summer together before routine begins again.
